FREE FILLING

Traditionally, insulating garments have contained down or various types of synthetic insulating materials that are fixed as “padding”. With BelowTen, we aim to establish a new standard that combines the unique “hand feel” of down with a recycled fibre that offers both comfort and practical properties. To achieve this feeling, we use the Free Filling method. This means that we work with a recycled synthetic fibre that is not fixed – the same technology used in the production of down garments. The result is solid craftsmanship, where each garment and size receives its unique character. FREE FILLING, in combination with TENYL, creates the special feeling and expression that characterises BelowTen garments.
